Michelle was born in Grand Rapids and raised north of the city. She graduated from Sparta High School in 2008 and went on to pursue an education in Dental Hygiene at Ferris State University. In 2012 she graduated and moved to Chicago with her fiance. While in Chicago, she worked in a pediatric dental office and discovered her joy for the field. Michelle also worked in general dentistry, utilizing her certifications in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation.
After getting married she moved back to Michigan with her husband in 2014. They bought their first home in Grand Rapids in a neighborhood across from Riverside Park. The next several years were spent working in general and pediatric dentistry. She joined Pediatric Dental Specialists of West Michigan in November 2020. Michelle loves working with children – helping them build confidence and overcome their fears makes her so happy!
In her free time she enjoys her yoga practice. She dedicates herself to her family. Michelle has two young children – Mason and Mandy. They live in Belmont, surrounded by nature. She and her husband love getting their family outside all seasons of the year. They enjoy walks, hiking, and any kind of outside play. Michelle and her husband have cherished their black lab, Micky, since the summer of 2011 when they got him together toward the end of college.
